Aliens Home Planet that was discovered during Earth Flight. Jarra provisionally named the planet until they discover what the Aliens called it.

Background[]
From Earth Star and Earth Flight:
An alien probe appeared in earth skies, in a geosynchronous orbit over Earth Africa soon after a major solar storm. At that time it was assumed that an electrical pulse temporarily powered up the alien artifact buried there which than sent a signal to the unmanned probe hiding in the Sol system. Once the artifact buried on earth approximately three thousand years before sent a signal to the probe, the probe opened up and started transmitting what is believed to be in excess of 500,000 laser light messages.
The research team eventually discovers two messages repeatedly being sent, one is the same signal that was originally sent an what is believed will be the key to translation and the other is an image of the aliens home solar system.
The alien solar system was discovered to be in Zeta Sector which the military had just started to investigate for colonization. Once it was discovered that the Aliens were from that part of space, the military withdrew their Planet First efforts and moved to Sigma Sector.
One of the Planet First probes had already arrived in the Aliens home solar system and had been sending the typical greeting messages out from a stationary position. Once their system had been identified there was already an alien probe moving out to intercept and communicate with the planet first probe.
Additionally Jarra plays around with the path from Fortuna to Earth and discovers that Thetis is directly in line to Earth.
There are still many assumptions being made, until the archaeology and research teams can discover more information all they have to go on are working hypothesis.
Working Hypothesis[]
Once it is determined that the aliens are extinct and their planet is vast ruins with absolutely no life on it, they form a working hypothesis that it was the alien ship that brought the Chimera to Thetis and that Thetis wasn't their home planet after all.
It is theorized that when the Aliens first discovered space flight, they would have visited a planet in a neighboring solar system and that is where the home planet of the Chimera is. The Chimera infested their first ship and when the ship returned, it brought the Chimera with it.
In the mean time while their first ship was traveled to another solar system and returned they would have made significant advancements in space travel and likely had created the automated probes.
When they realized that they were loosing the battle with the Chimera they created and set off an extinction event that destroyed all life on their home planet.
Time Line of Events[]
June/July 2789 - Alien home world is discovered in Zeta Sector.
June/July 2789 - Drones are sent to investigate the planet and discover that it has a defensive grid that prevents getting too close. The Military mange to fly a drone through a section where some of the defenses are non-working and take readings of the planet. Discovering that the entire planet is covered with ruins and that there is no life left.
June/July 2789 - Drago lands on the Moon to investigate the beam of light and also discovers the remains of a long dead Chimera.
November 10, 2789 - Jarra and Fian land on the Fortuna's Moon and lower the Planetary defenses shield.
November 13, 2789 - The Defenses automatically reengage.
